Objective of this week

We use our phones a lot.

Lately, I have been feeling like I am addicted to it. And this is a very unwise way to spend my time.

This is, in fact, a quite common problem in the modern world, and it is tough to deal with based on what I observe.

Therefore, this week’s challenge and the following ones focus on healthy phone usage.
The goal is to progressively learn how to use our phones in a smart and efficient way, ultimately leading us to have more time to engage in interesting projects.

This challenge is about taking periodic breaks from phone usage during the day.

Instead of being semi-present in your current activity because you are looking at your phone, fully engage in the book you are reading, your work, or the social interaction you are involved in.

Your productivity, the amount of work you accomplish, and the number of things you learn will skyrocket.

Avoid using your phone for six hours per day.

Consider splitting the 6 hours into shorter time frames, such as three sessions of two hours each.

There are apps such as “Digital Detox” that can limit phone usage for your restricted sessions.
